Position Overview:
D-Tech Staffing is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to oversee operations of a 50-bed Comprehensive Care Program for a county government client in Maryland. This is a critical leadership position responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, supporting quality care initiatives, and guiding staff to maintain the highest standards in patient services. This role is offered through D-Tech Staffing, LLC, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Leadership: Lead compliance efforts with CMS Conditions of Participation, COMAR regulations, and Joint Commission standards.
- Policy Implementation: Oversee implementation and enforcement of COMAR 10.07.09 (Patient’s Bill of Rights).
- Policy Review: Review and approve facility policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and quality control.
- Administrative Oversight: Provide administrative oversight and quality assurance leadership.
- Committee Participation: Actively participate in facility committees and meetings to guide compliance and care delivery.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate time and service documentation in accordance with WMHC requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Required License: Current Maryland Nursing Home Administrator license.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Nursing Home Administrator in a facility with 35+ beds.
- Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of COMAR, CMS, OHCQ, and Joint Commission standards.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and quality assurance skills.
- References: Must provide three professional references with contact details.
Compliance & Health Requirements:
- Completion of criminal background check prior to start.
- Comprehensive medical examination and proof of fitness for duty (at candidate’s expense).
- Required immunizations:
- Tuberculosis screening (two-step skin test within 12 months, or chest x-ray within 5 years).
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Tdap (vaccination or proof of immunity).
- Annual Influenza vaccination (declination accepted for medical/religious reasons with documentation).
- Hepatitis B vaccination series (per OSHA requirements).
- COVID-19 vaccination.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Sunday through Saturday, between 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST (including Maryland state holidays; occasional weekend rotations).
- Location: On-site, Hagerstown, MD.
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate.
