Job Description
We are looking to recruit multiple Facilities Maintenance Technician for our client organizations to ensure their facilities are maintained at optimal conditions. As a Facility Maintenance Worker, you will perform a variety of tasks to keep buildings in safe and efficient working order. This position is crucial for supporting the day-to-day operations of the organization by executing repairs, maintenance, and general upkeep. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and have the capability to manage various maintenance tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Keep records of all maintenance and repair work conducted.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training in building maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Required Experience: At least 2 years of experience in facility maintenance or a related role.
- Required Certifications: Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing are advantageous.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, ability to use various hand and power tools, fundamental knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and attention to detail.
